History:

Maj. Gen. Jessica L. Wright, commander of the Pennsylvania National Guard, dedicated the new Elizabethtown Readiness Center and Field Maintenance Shop on April 21, 2010 even though construction was completed the previous summer because the 328th Brigade Support Battalion was deployed to Iraq in 2009.

It replaces the Lancaster Armory built in 1937 and the field maintenance former facility at 539 Chesapeake St.
